  What can be more symbolic than crafting your partner’s wedding ring? I had first heard about this concept a few years ago and always loved the idea. When I became engaged myself, making our own rings was an easy decision. After doing a bit of research I came across Amy’s workshop. I emailed her inquiring about the details and she responded right away with all the specifics. She assisted with design ideas and was very helpful in the initial creative process. We liked Amy from our email exchange and we felt comfortable going into the workshop with zero prior metalworking experience. During the workshop itself, Amy was very patient and explained the entire exercise in great detail. The process for each ring varied slightly as our designs were different; so the steps needed to complete the design varied with each ring. The workshop took about six hours from start to finish; however, the entire process did not take up the entire six hours. There was also a good amount of waiting involved, for metals to cool, for reactions to take place, etc. Amy had supplied us with an amazing light lunch, and we chatted during the waiting periods. My husband and I really enjoyed Amy’s company as whole, and still regard her highly. My husband and I took well over a hundred pictures during the occasion and created a display at our wedding with all them. The guests loved hearing about the process and thought the idea was just as romantic as we did. I cannot be happier with our decision to make our wedding rings at Amy’s workshop. The rings are beautiful, and the memories we will cherish forever.

  We spent a lovely day making gorgeous wedding rings with Amy. What a wonderful experience. Would recommend the wedding ring workshop to everyone! Also, I was impressed just how nice the rings came out. Not being professional jewelers, I didn't think they would come out so nice but we were both pleasantly surprised. Thanks!
